Galsaman 1 Million Ton Integrated Tank Terminal
The Galsaman Integrated Tank Terminal is a national-scale energy storage infrastructure with a total capacity of 1 million tons, storing diesel, renewable bunker oil, green methanol, SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel), and green ammonia. With a deep-sea port depth of -14m, it can accommodate large tankers from MR/LR1 class to VLCC class supertankers. It functions as a core fuel supply hub for Northeast Asian maritime logistics through its Ship-to-Ship (STS) bunkering network. We've established a world-class safety management system with KGS certified explosion-proof facilities, multiple gas detectors, and an Emergency Shut Down (ESD) system to deliver safe and efficient energy storage and supply services.
Key Capabilities & Features

Port Infrastructure
• Depth: Approximately -14m (suitable for fully loaded large vessels)
• Berth-capable vessels: MR (Medium Range), LR1 (Long Range 1), VLCC-class supertankers
• Bulk carriers: Handles Panamax and Capesize vessels
• Average waiting time: Within 4 hours (target)
• Average injection rate: 1,200 m³/hr
Berth Operation Strategy
• Dedicated Berth: Exclusive berths for specific cargo owners (long-term contract)
• Common Berth: Shared berths (maximize utilization and minimize waiting time)
Ship-to-Ship (STS) Bunkering
• Direct fuel transfer between vessels at anchorage
• Large tanker → Direct supply to small and medium-sized vessels
• Operable 24/7
Ship-to-Shore Offloading
• Onshore offloading via large pipelines
• Direct connection to storage tanks
• High-speed injection system (1,200 m³/hr)
Shore-to-Barge Supply
• Operate dedicated barge fleet for each fuel type
• Supply within small vessels and ports
• Flexible delivery schedule
